Fossa Cheese Fair

The Fossa cheese, from the characteristic aroma and taste, becomes the star of tastings, shows and exhibitions.

It is a typical local cheese made from the fermentation in the aging pits, of the cheese produced in the area between the Rubicone and Marecchia valleys, between Romagna and Marche. Capital of Romagna for the Fossa cheese is Sogliano al Rubicone. The cheese is the star of the show, during which, after the opening of the pits, it is possible buy and taste a lot of local food and wine, entertained by theater, music and exhibitions.
