Festa Artusiana

With the Festa Artusiana, Forlimpopoli transforms itself into the capital of good food, thanks to its ancient citizen the gastronomist Pellegrino Artusi, the undisputed father of modern Italian cuisine.

An irresistible interweaving of sounds, aromas and flavors invades the historical center of the Artus town in the nine days of the Festival, the scene of an unprecedented dialogue between gastronomy, culture and entertainment. The main theme is domestic cooking and over 700 recipes from the well-known Artusian manual "La Scienza in Cucina and the Art of Mangiar Bene" which are revived in the many restaurants and tasting points set up along the streets, squares and alleys of Forlimpopoli, renamed for the occasion according to the chapters of the famous book. The language of the Feast is then immersed in the words, in the stories and in the cross-section of that Italy that the manual has helped to unify from the point of view of identity, culture, gastronomy and language.
