Verso il mare controcorrente

The ethnic traditions from the hinterland to the coast of Romagna, enriched by the territorial gastronomy,
will be the protagonists of "Verso il Mare Controcorrente" from Saturday 29 to Sunday 30 July at the
Museo della Marineria in Cesenatico.

During the two days will be presents a trip to the artisan, cultural and artistic traditions of Romagna with
meetings, tastings and workshops dedicated to adults and children.

From 5pm, will be show traditional ethnic crafts: the caulker, the fisherman who repair the net and paint
the sails, the production of canned, fish spectacles, handbags, stickers with valley and willow herbs, pans
for the piadina and canavas prints

From 7pm “Convegni sotto l'ombrellone”, short conventions to descover typical products of Romagna:
PDO wines and native grapes, nutroceutical fruits, the tradition of coffee making, artisan beer, Brisighella
PDO extra virgin Olive oil...

You will enjoy our rich culinary tradition with proposals that go from Piadina PGI, Squacquerone PDO to
typical jams,local grains salads, farm cheeses and ice cream, local fruit juices and native wines.

During the evening music, songs and dances of tradition and guided visit at the Museo della Marineria.
