BorgoIndie: Ancient Osservanza Monastery - Brisighella 6-7 May 2017

BorgoIndie is the festival of independent agricultural and cultural activities created by Marco Ghezzi in collaboration with Cinemadivino e Fivi (Italian Federation of independent winemakers) at its 4 th edition. The event retraces the same thread coming from the first 2014 edition: a broad journey from the winemakers market up to the boundaries of music and dialogue. Tastings of saké and Italian classic method are the new entries for this year. Two days (Saturday 6th afternoon and night - Sunday 7th May) focused on describing the creative development and the independent agricultural production: “indie” in English, while Brisighella is instead the “borgo”, i.e the village where all this is going to happen. Hence, BorgoIndie. Together with the winemakers and artists/artisans markets the event will give space to the Garage Wine Contest and to an area for PGI/PDO products and Slow Food presidia of Emilia-Romagna region. Beyond the presence of Cinemadivino’s Food Truck, during both evenings two Gala dinners will take place in which the chefs are called to translate the recycling food theme. BorgoIndie 2017 edition’s focus will be on reading: “reading the wine, reading the territory, reading the music, reading a book” with the 7 th May conference hosting spokespersons of the showbiz, of publishing and food and wine experts. On 6 th May Di Martino e Cammarata will be on stage with their concert and new album dedicated to Chavela Vargas.
